After a cold San Francisco day, what better to do then is to get some hot pot to warm you up. If you tend to idle around the Presidio or Inner Sunset, Nabe is probably the best place for all-things hot-pot.
This review is for the Nabe in the Marina District, though I’ve heard the quality is similar at both. I went down earlier this month with a friend and got the Wagyu Shabu and the Seafood Yosenabe. The Seafood Yosenabe was great, but the real star of the show was the Wagyu Shabu with the Sukiyaki broth. We had also ordered some gyoza which was also nice.
Nabe is pretty empty on weekday nights but tends to crowd up around the weekend. I would recommend going on Nabe as it’s one of the few hot-pot spots in San Francisco.
